Joanne Fedler’s Bio: Joanne Fedler is an internationally bestselling author of 9 books, a writing mentor and speaker. Before she became an author, she worked as a women’s rights activist in the anti-violence against women movement in South Africa where she set up and ran a not-for-profit organization for many years. Her first novel, The Dreamcloth, was shortlisted for the Commonwealth Prize for Fiction. Since then, her books have sold over 650 000 copies worldwide, and two have been #1 Amazon bestsellers. In 2015 she launched her WINGS program (Words Inspire, Nourish and Grow the Spirit) which encompasses free 7 day writing challenges, the transformational Author Awakening Adventure online writing course and soon, a writing competition. For the past six years, she’s been taking groups of aspiring women authors on writing retreats (to Fiji, Bali and Tuscany) to help them find their voices.
